No practice tracks. No sheet music, only words. We all know the tunes. We have an agreed upon the order for singing the service hymns - Coast Guard, Army, Marines, Air Force, Navy. We have agreed upon words for each service hymn. We sing the hymns in unison. Someone introduces each service as that service's hymn begins. The chorus must be in sync with the pianist. The pianist develops music to transition from one hymn to the next. The videos are just two examples of the thousands of ways this popular medley is performed. At the end of the last hymn (Navy) we all shout in unison "THANK YOU VETS'.
